Ann Coulter: ‘I’m determined to ruin soccer for as many people as possible’

Ann Coulter is rooting against the US, specifically US Women’s Soccer, all because a few team members aren’t particularly huge fans of President Trump.

Responding to a recent CNN interview with Team USA’s Ali Kreiger where she voiced her displeasure with Trump, Coulter took to Twitter and declared that she plans to “ruin soccer for as many people as possible.”

“The WOS spreads! (That’s the name of my new organization, War On Soccer),” Coulter tweeted on Sunday. “The country has been lost. However I am determined to go down swinging by ruining soccer for as many people as possible.”

Coulter went on to say that people who share her distaste for soccer are the “Silent Majority.” She then shared an op-ed by Theodore Dalrymple titled, I Get No Kick From Women’s Soccer, where he argues that women’s soccer is no comparison to men’s.

“The problem is that women are not very good at this kind of thing, certainly not by comparison with men,” Dalrymple writes. “If you want to watch soccer played well (I personally have a limited appetite for it), you should watch men.”

Just to recap: Coulter is upset because of comments from Team USA’s Megan Rapinoe, where she told a reporter that she would refuse an invite to visit the White House in the event that the Women’s Team won the World Championship.

“I’m not going to the f—ing White House,” Rapinoe told the outlet Eight By Eight. “No, I’m not going to the White House. We’re not going to be invited. I doubt it.”
