Barack Obama on Trump: ‘If Lesley Stahl is too tough for you, you ain’t all that tough’

Speaking at a drive-in rally in South Florida, former president Barack Obama ripped into President’s Trump’s performance on his recent 60 Minutes interview with Lesley Stahl where he ultimately stormed out, saying that it revealed Trump to be a thin-skinned bully rather than the tough-guy image he like to promote.

“He likes to act tough and talk tough. He thinks scowling and being mean is tough,” Obama said. “But when ’60 Minutes’ and Lesley Stahl are too tough for you, you ain’t all that tough.”

According to Obama, Trump’s inability to handle a TV interview shows that he’s “never going to stand up to a dictator.”

“You wouldn’t tolerate it from a coworker. You wouldn’t tolerate it from a high school principal. You wouldn’t tolerate it from a coach. You wouldn’t tolerate it from a family member,” Obama said, commenting on Trump behavior while in office.

“Eight months into this pandemic, new cases are breaking records. Donald Trump isn’t going to suddenly protect all of us. He can’t even take the basic steps to protect himself,” he continued.
