During a Labor Day speech in Milwaukee this Monday, President Joe Biden was interrupted by someone in the audience.
Biden spoke at Milwaukee Laborfest and reiterated his support for unions and praised Democratic legislative victories. As audience members and security moved to quiet the heckler, Biden spoke up and told them to back off.
“No, no, no, don’t — let him go. He’s, look, everybody’s entitled to be an idiot,” Biden said.
It wasn’t immediately clear what the heckler was saying.
Biden dealt with hecklers while he was delivering a prime-time speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia on Thursday, when someone yelled, “F*** Joe Biden” and the infamous slogan, “Let’s go Brandon.”
“They’re entitled to be outrageous. This is a democracy,” Biden said, adding, “Good manners is nothing they’ve ever suffered from.”
