Bill Cosby’s last TV appearance before the rape scandal blew up was an awkward nightmare

Just two months before comedian Hannibal Buress’s October 2014 viral routine about Cosby’s rape allegations, blowing the scandal wide open and into the hands of the media tabloids, Bill Cosby appeared on Late Night Starring Jimmy Fallon, and it was truly a bizarre and cringe-inducing site to behold.

“Hey! We’re here! We’re here on the Fallon show and we’re waiting for the gas pedal and the clutch and the brake … because too many people have hit the deer, and the deer always win.”

“Don’t mess with those guys,” said a seemingly confused Fallon.

“But the ones I don’t understand, I don’t understand the intelligence of a moth,” Cosby replied.
