British politician finds out that it’s important to always proofread your campaign posters

Having a proofreader is a valuable asset to any campaign, as British Conservative Party candidate James Duddridge recently found out.

Seemingly having a good sense of humor about the whole thing, the Member of Parliament on Tuesday tweeted a photo of one of his campaign flyers, which contained a pretty hilarious error.

“It’s Erection Day!” the leaflet read in blue, bold letters.

“Always have someone to proof read your leaflet,” Duddridge said in his tweet. “This one had no imprint and mentions Erection Day.”

“Keep it up!” Duddridge added.
