BUFFALO, NEW YORK — The Buffalo police officers caught on video pushing an elderly man to the ground and seriously injuring him were charged with second-degree assault this morning during a virtual arraignment, WIVB reports.
Robert McCabe and Aaron Torgalski were suspended after video showing them shoving 75-year-old Martin Gugino to the ground Thursday night went viral. The incident took place during a demonstration in front of Buffalo City Hall.
