On Wednesday, Carly Fiorina just happened to deliver a speech on the dangers of organ harvesting and abortion to a bunch of toddlers. While there’s a lot wrong with that, the biggest problem is the fact that she stole the children. Apparently they had been on a field trip and Fiorina grabbed them without their parents’ permission.
The kids, too young to understand how “organ harvesting” is coded anti-choice propaganda, looked way too bored to be traumatized.
The children were on a school-sponsored field trip to the Greater Des Moines botanical garden. Coincidentally, Fiorina was hosting a “right to life forum” at the same time. The GOP candidate saw the half-conscious children as a prime opportunity to bolster her image. Apparently having a bunch of stolen unaccompanied children at your pro-life forum really sells.

The parents of these children were less than pleased by Fiorina’s improvised kidnapping and even described it as an “ambush.” Chris Beck, the father of one of the four-year-olds Fiorina borrowed, told the Guardian:
“Taking them into a pro-life/abortion discussion [was] very poor taste and judgment. I would not want my four-year-old going to that forum – he can’t fully comprehend that stuff. He likes dinosaurs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers.”

Fiorina did not directly respond to the allegations, but told the paper via a spokesperson that the Fiorina team was delighted that the children chose to attend the anti-abortion forum with their guardians.
While many of the current Republican presidential hopefuls largely resemble cartoon villains, Carly Fiorina is most likely the only one who has actually kidnapped children. Seeing as she is currently polling at 1.5 percent, this will most like have no effect on her sagging campaign.
