Adding a bizarre twist to the manhunt for ex-LAPD murder suspect Chris Dorner, actor Charlie Sheen recorded a message to Dorner this Saturday pleading with the fugitive to call him and start a dialogue.
In a single sentence of the now infamous manifesto, Dorner mentions Sheen directly, saying, “Charlie Sheen, you’re effin’ awesome.”
In the video, Sheen addresses Dorner personally.
“You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words. I am urging you to call me. Let’s figure out together how to end this thing. Call me, I look forward to talking to you.”
Curiously, Sheen doesn’t explain in the 17 second video how exactly Dorner should go about obtaining Sheen’s phone number.
