Gordon Klingenschmitt used to be a Colorado state legislator, but now he’s a “Christian activist” with a fairly big YouTube following. On his Pray in Jesus Name program last week, Klingenschmitt came up with a unique way to solve the nation’s healthcare woes.
After saying Planned Parenthood is influenced by demonic spirits, he took a moment to recite a verse from Exodus 15:
If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.
“You know what the solution to America’s healthcare crisis is?” he asked. “Obey the Ten Commandments, stop funding abortion, stop funding child killing and God will heal your diseases … The supernatural blessing of healing is available if we stop working with the demonic spirit of murder,” adding that if America were to outlaw abortion, “we would receive [God’s] healing and wouldn’t need to rely on socialist healthcare.”
