Christian church’s ‘director of children’s ministries’ is arrested and charged for child porn and child molestation

A caregiver in Oklahoma has been arrested after police received a report of a child under the age of 12 being molested around Christmas time, Oklahoma News 4 reported.

Christopher Fourcade, 45, was arrested this Thursday after a months-long investigation that identified additional victims.

As News 4 points out, Fourcade was listed on the website of the First Christian Church of Norman as its “director of children’s ministries,” although as of this writing his name has been removed. He’s also listed as the current Citizens Advisory Board Treasurer on the Norman Chamber of Commerce website, but his name also appears to be removed from that as well. His name was also removed from the Fostering Futures website as their Service Delivery Chair.

Fostering Futures is a nonprofit organization that provides “financial and emotional support for children and their families who receive services from the Cleveland County Child Welfare System.”

“Our mission is to serve children and families in Cleveland County,” Fostering Futures told News 4 in a statement. “We continue with this focus. Late this morning we learned about this serious situation and we’ll be determining next steps to ensure the integrity of the organization continues to be upheld. The individual you are asking about is on leave pending further information.”

According to KOCO 5 News, Fourcade was formerly a foster parent. Oklahoma Human Services say that when they learned about the allegations against him, the children placed in his custody were removed.

Police say Fourcade was booked on four complaints of lewd acts with a child and two complaints of possession of child pornography.
