Have you ever come across something on the Internet that is so magically awkward and bizarre, that you just can’t be sure if it’s satire or not? Your spidey sense rings slightly in the back of your head, but it doesn’t give anything definitive.
This was my struggle when I came across a video by viral YouTube Christian “prophet” William Tapley. But after a little digging, the guy checks out.
Tapley refers to himself as the “Third Eagle of the Apocalypse.” He’s essentially your run-of-the-mill Biblical doomsday prophet who peppers his rhetoric with every conspiracy theory about President Obama under the sun, and then some. He’s not a big fan of Pope Francis (he refers to him as the “Abomination of Desolation) and “phallic symbols” and alleged Satanic symbols scattered throughout the murals at the Denver International Airport get him really riled up. Trying to break down this guy’s religious ideology is not a simple task, so I’d just suggest that you peruse his YouTube page to get an idea of his opinions. It’s pretty entertaining.
Oh – and he LOVES Donald Trump.
Tapley is no YouTube lightweight. His page, “Third Eagle Books,” has over 33,000 subscribers and some of his videos have surpassed 600,000 views.
The video that I spoke of above is an “unofficial” campaign song he composed for Trump/Pence 2016. It’s quite a thing to behold.
