Right-wing pastor and avid Trump supporter Rick Joyner is crediting the President with doing God’s work by ordering the airstrike that killed Iran’s top military official, Qassem Soleimani.
Citing a verse in the bible, Joyner noted: “civil governments have not been given the sword for nothing. The sword is military power, but to avenge evil.”
Had the president not acted, he “would have been in rebellion against God if [he] did not avenge evil” by killing Soleimani, Joyner said.
