Christian podcaster: Women who lead men on are committing ‘sexual abuse’

During an appearance in The Hagmann Report last week, far-right Christian “activist” Dave Daubenmire shared his thoughts on the sexual assault accusations against SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Of course, Daubenmire focused on what he thinks is the “double standard” when it comes to these kinds of accusations against men —  a double standard that allows women to commit “sexual abuse” by giving men who are attracted to them the wrong impression.

“What would be going on in America today if Judge Kavanaugh went before the cameras and said, ‘Yeah, you know what? That did happen back then, but it didn’t happen the way she said it happened. Let me tell you something, she was in there taking on about any boy that wanted to come in there. And if I remember this right, I wasn’t the only guy in there; there were a bunch of them. And I’m not proud of it, but I’m telling you, she was giving it out like candy’?” Daubenmire said in a video flagged by Right Wing Watch.

“Boy, they would scream and holler ‘you’re disparaging her character’ and all that kind of stuff,” he continued. “There is such a double standard that is going on in America and it’s happened because, truthfully, most men in particular, we’re scared of women.”

“We have to learn once again to fight like girls … That Jezebel feminist spirit, that is one of the most powerful ones out that and I’ll be honest with you, right now that spirit is eating men alive.”

The ‘men fighting like girls’ trope is one Daubenmire has used before. On his Pass the Salt Live show this February, he wondered why no one took down gunman Nikolas Cruz during his shooting rampage at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. According to him, it’s because society reinforces feminism which in turn produces “effeminate guys” as a result.

During his rant last week, Daubenmire declared that women actually “don’t want to be equal” with men with it comes to matters of sex.

“[Women] want to be equal in employment and they want to be equal in responsibility but, man, they don’t want to be equal sexually,” he said, adding that there’s a plenty of examples of girls leading on boys before pulling the plug “all of a sudden.

“Every guy that has blood flowing through his body had that happen. Isn’t that sexual abuse as well?”

“I don’t get it anymore how only men can be the aggressor, only men can be the offenders,” he said. “No brothers, we’ve got to stand up and say, ‘This doesn’t flush, we’re not going to let this happen, we’re not going to live by this double standard.’”
