Couple who brandished guns at BLM marchers to make guest appearance at GOP convention

The St. Louis couple who made headlines after brandishing guns at Black Lives Matter protesters who marched past their home on their private street will be making an appearance at the Republican National Convention next week, The Washington Post reports.

Patricia and Mark McCloskey “will appear on behalf of the president during the virtual weeklong event and express their support for him,” GOP party officials told the Post.

The couple appeared on the patio of their mansion brandishing guns at the marchers who were heading towards the mayor’s house down the street.

The couple was later charged, each with one count of unlawful use of a weapon.
