Crowd chants ‘F*** Trump’ as Fox News reporter broadcasts live from a bar in France

While broadcasting live from a bar in France, Fox News foreign affairs correspondent Greg Palkot got an unexpected surprise from the bar patrons he was surrounded by, and it was all caught on video.

Just after the U.S. Women’s national soccer team were victorious over the Netherlands, Palkot declared that history had just been made.

“We are here in a sports bar in Lyon, France. Listen to it,” Palkot said, just before he realized that the crowd’s chants has suddenly turned political.

“F*** Trump! F*** Trump! F*** Trump!” the crowd chanted.

To his credit, Palkot was undeterred.

“We are inside a sports bar, we were going to be outside, we were going to be at a screen of the football [match],” he said as the crowd chanted.

The crowd’s sentiment was likely due to the fact the President Trump is currently feuding with one of the U.S., team’s biggest stars, Megan Rapinoe, who said she would refuse to visit the White House in the event that her team won the championship. Rapinoe’s stance prompted Trump to attack her on Twitter, saying she “should WIN before she TALKS! Finish the job!”

Trump later said that he would invite the team anyway, but according to Rapinoe, many of her teammates likely won’t take him up on the offer.

“I haven’t spoken to everyone about it, obviously not myself, not Ali Krieger, and I suspect not many, if any, of the other players [will go],” Rapinoe said.
