During a recent livestream, Mississippi pastor Shane Vaughn sounded a bit nervous at the prospect of Ron DeSantis siphoning votes away from Donald Trump in a potential 2024 matchup.
“There is no MAGA without Donald Trump,” Vaughn declared. “It infuriates me to the core to see disloyalty.”
Vaughn went to say that people who try to carry on the MAGA tradition without Trump are killing Trump’s message “because the anointing is on the man.”
“Donald Trump is the leader of the MAGA movement,” he continued. “You watch what happened to him two short years ago. You saw it with your eyes around midnight, amen? For you to leave him now makes you a traitor of the MAGA movement. I don’t care if you like it or not. … You don’t separate MAGA from the man who created it. You understand that? And to do so proves your character — listen, when you do not support the man that God has ordained for the job, you are a Judas.”
