Ex-QAnon believer apologizes to Anderson Cooper: ‘I thought you ate babies’

In a preview for a new CNN report airing this Sunday night about the QAnon conspiracy theory cult, host Anderson Cooper shared a segment where he speaks to former QAnon believer Jitarth Jadeja, who told Cooper that he once believed the CNN anchor ate children.

According to Jadeja, he was a believer until June 2019.

“Did you, at the time, believe that Democrats, high-level Democrats and celebrities were worshipping Satan, drinking the blood of children?” Cooper asked Jadeja.

“Anderson, I thought you did that,” he responded.

“Q specifically mentioned you, and mentioned you very early on,” Jadeja continued, addressing Cooper. “He mentioned you by name … he also talked about, for example, your family.”

As the New York Daily News points out, it’s not clear how Cooper and his family figure into the many proclamations and predictions that come from the conspiracy cult. Jadeja added that to this day, many QAnon believers think Cooper is a robot.

“I at one stage believed that QAnon was part of military intelligence, which is what he says. But on top of that, that the people behind him were actually a group of fifth-dimensional, intradimensional, extraterrestrial bipedal bird aliens called blue avians,” Jadeja said.

He went on to say that he was so tightly held within the grips of the ever-evolving belief system that he was “essentially picking and choosing whatever narrative that I wanted to believe in.”
