A father and son from Wisconsin who were once pastors of a Christian church were charged this Wednesday with multiple counts of sexual assault of a child, WSAW reports.
Scott Huse, 64, was charged with 11 counts of sexual assault of a child and one count of child enticement. He is being held on a $250,000 cash bond.
Travis Huse, 42, faces 31 charges, including sexual assault of a child counts and child enticement. He is being held on a $1 million cash bond.
The Langlade County Sheriff’s Department said the incidents happened while the Huse family was involved with the Apostolic Worship Center and former Evergreen Christian Academy in Elton, Wisconsin. They are both former United Pentecostal Church pastors.
According to court records, the crimes took place from September 1990 to September 1994 for Scott Huse, and from October 1996 through Jan. 2006 for Travis Huse.
