Flag-waving Trump supporter admits to voter fraud: ‘I voted twice for Trump in 2016’

In a video posted by the comedy duo The Good Liars this Tuesday, a woman holding a Trump 2020 flag outright admits to committing voter fraud in the 2016 election.

When told by TGL member Jason Selvig (possibly somewhat sarcastically) that voter fraud “is a real problem” in the U.S., the woman responded, “Yeah, I know. I know all about it … I did it.”

“You committed voter fraud?” Selvig asked her. “What’d you do?”

“Voted twice for Trump,” the woman replied, later adding, “I’m still on probation for it.”

Turns out the woman is Terri Lynn Rote, who pleaded guilty in 2017 to a felony charge of election misconduct.

Rote, who was 56 at the time and lived in Des Moines, told police she turned in two absentee ballots before the 2016 election because she believed Trump’s unsubstantiated claims that the election was rigged and that her first ballot would be changed to a vote for Hillary Clinton, according to Des Moines Register.
