For Trump opponents, what looks to be a significant hammer of accountability coming down on his now ex-National Security Advisor, Mike Flynn, is providing some cautious reassurance.
Update — 12/1/2017: Flynn has pled guilty to lying to the FBI.

A two-page charging document filed Thursday lists two false statements Flynn made about his interactions with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak in late December 2016.
It says Flynn falsely claimed that he had not asked Kislyak on Dec. 29 “to refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions that the U.S. had imposed against Russia,” and that he didn’t recall Kislyak telling him Russia had decided to moderate its response as a result of his request.

The video is from Flynn’s speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention.
“We do not need a reckless president who believes she is above the law,” Flynn declared, referring to Hillary — to chants of “lock her up!” beginning to emanate from the crowd.
“Lock her up… That’s right,” he responds to the crowd.
“Yeah… I use — I use hashtag ‘Never Hillary!'”
For any thinking person, it’s too early to say with any certainty that he should be “locked up.” But by Flynn and the Trump mob’s Hillary standards, he’s eligible for the Gulag.
