Former GOP Senate candidate agrees with Kanye West that Jews shouldn’t serve in government

During an appearance on a show hosted by a known white nationalist, Lauren Witzke, who was GOP nominee for the U.S. Senate in Delaware in 2020, agreed with the host’s proclamation that Kanye West was right when he said Christians are God’s chosen people, not the Jews.

“They are not the ‘chosen people.’ This is a completely misinterpreted quote,” said Vincent James, who hosts the show The Red Elephants. “We are the chosen people. Christians — the people who accept Christ — are the chosen people. It says this explicitly and often throughout the bible.”

“Christians are the chosen people,” he reiterated. “And Ye is right — we shouldn’t allow anyone that doesn’t believe in Christ in positions of power in this country.”

Witzke agreed. “Yeah, it’s true,” she said. “And I think that as Christians it’s okay to say that. It’s okay to be unapologetically Jesus-loving Christians, and all those who attempt to get in our way, I would advise against that.”
