Former Trump lawyer: Trump is staffing his campaign with ‘chronically unemployable losers’

The onetime senior legal adviser to Donald Trump’s campaign says the former president is staffing his 2024 presidential campaign with “chronically unemployable losers” from the Republican “swamp.”

“I respect President Trump, but I’m tired of his campaign hypocritically accusing Ron DeSantis of doing things THEY do,” wrote Jenna Ellis in a response to conservative strategist Alex Bruesewitz, who claimed polls that previously showed Trump “struggling” were funded by “a shady polling company made up of Bush, Romney, Rove, Ryan, and Even Soros-Linked Operatives.”

“Since they insist on lying about DeSantis, I have created a running list of Team Trump’s ties to Jeb [Bush], The Swamp, and Woke corporations,” Ellis added along with a list of screenshots which she claims show Trump’s staffers’ ties to “woke corporations” and the GOP establishment.

Ellis went on to say that while she has “nothing against these Trump operatives,” it’s hypocritical for Trump’s campaign to “say Bush and Swamp ties disqualify you from the Republican Party” when Trump’s own team “should be disqualified” according to that standard.

“Not all, but Trump’s worst ‘advisors’ are chronically unemployable losers whose livelihoods depend on him. That’s why they’re so terrified of DeSantis,” she wrote. “I will update this list so long as they insist on lying and making the campaign and this election about anything other than the issues. Lie [about me all you want]. I’ll speak truth without fear or favor, and continue to appeal to Trump to tell his advisors to stop.”
