With the Republican Party fractured, conservatives may be having a difficult time making a decision at the polling booth. However, Fox & Friends has simplified the problem, telling their viewers to just let Jesus do the voting.
When questioned by host Steve Doocy, co-host Candace Cameron Bure offered, “I don’t know what it’s going to take, but I’m an American and I hold conservative values, and I think at the end of the day, I realize I put my faith in Jesus Christ, not in any one person.”
Fellow Fox host Ainsley Earhardt furthered the idea that faith, as opposed to rational thought and reasoning, should dictate the decision of who should be the next leader of the country.
“I know your faith is important to you as it is to many of us,” Earhardt stated. “Do you feel like in this election, we just pray about it and give it to God and God’s going to pick the right candidate?”
“I don’t know who I’m going to vote for at this point,” Bure commented. “But I will pray about the decision of who I’ll vote for.”
Bure did go on to recommend Christians get out and vote. Hopefully Jesus has the proper identification required to vote in one of the 34 states that have voter ID laws.
