Franklin Graham: Biden won — but at least Trump let us say ‘Merry Christmas’ again

In a post to his Facebook page this Monday, evangelical activist and evangelist Franklin Graham seemingly acknowledged Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election, but expressed thanks (to God) that President Trump pushed forward the Christian agenda and nominated conservative judges to the Supreme Court.

He also took the opportunity to suggest to his followers that the War on Christmas will likely be waged once again during Biden’s tenure (even though the war exists in their own heads).

“I’m grateful for a president and a vice president who recognized the importance of prayer and were not ashamed of the name of Jesus Christ,” Franklin wrote. “I’m thankful that the president stood against the secularists who wanted to take Christ out of Christmas and that he brought back the greeting ‘Merry Christmas!'”

According to Graham, “President Trump will go down in history as one of the great presidents of our nation, bringing peace and prosperity to millions here in the U.S. and around the world.”

Trump actually retweeted a Breitbart article highlighting Graham’s post, apparently not realizing the article’s tone of acceptance of the election’s results.
