A gigantic crowd has assembled in front of Tahrir Square in Cairo calling for President Mohammed Morsi’s resignation.
A military ultimatum that demanded Egyptian President Morsi to address the concerns of the protesters has now expired, and some sources have reported that a military coup is under way. Other protests in favor of Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood government are taking place in other areas of the country, but are dwarfed by the numbers that have turned out against the government.
