GOP Rep slams MTG: She’s ‘teaching CrossFit’ while I’m teaching ‘constitutional principles’

Colorado GOP Rep. Ken Buck slammed Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene this Thursday, accusing her of not having a very good understanding of the Constitution.

Earlier this week, Greene accused Buck of not having enough sympathy for Jan. 6 defendants. She also attacked him for voting to certify the 2020 election and for not seeing any reason to start an impeachment inquiry” into President Joe Biden.

Buck was asked about Greene’s comments during an interview on a local radio show.

From Insider:

… he mockingly referred to her past as the owner of a CrossFit gym, while referencing his own past as an instructor at University of Denver Law School.

“When I was teaching law school, I learned and taught certain constitutional principles,” said Buck. “When Marjorie Taylor Greene was teaching CrossFit, she learned a whole different set of values.”

“The Constitution says Congress shall count the votes. It doesn’t say Congress may overturn an election result,” he continued. “In her CrossFit class, maybe they didn’t cover that.”

“When you’ve got people who care more about their social media accounts than they do about the Constitution, we have a real problem in Congress,” he concluded.
