Guy who doesn’t believe in human-made climate change says Obama is responsible for Hurricane Matthew

On his TV program this Monday, televangelist Jim Bakker said that God sent Hurricane Matthew as punishment for President Barack Obama’s policies on Israel.

Bakker alleged that the “hurricane has something to do with what Obama did,” referring to the White House’s update in its press release on Obama’s remarks at the funeral of former Israeli President Shimon Peres, which removed its description of Jerusalem as being part of Israel.

Always searching for clues, Bakker found it noteworthy that the Hurricane’s name is Matthew, which just happens to be the name of the book in the bible which most emphasizes Jewish traditions.

Bakker has promoted climate change denial numerous times on his show, but he’s not concerned with the science (good or bad) regarding the subject. He sees extreme weather patterns as a “warning from God.”

So in essence, Bakker believes in human-made climate change. It’s just that the gays and Muslims are the humans who are responsible.
