Here’s a list of every abusive Catholic church priest and clergy member in every state

In the wake of a grand jury report that listed over 300 abusive priests in the state of Pennsylvania, dioceses in Arkansas and the California city of San Diego released their own lists of abusive priests. That opened the floodgates, prompting dioceses, religious orders, and lawyers across the country to start naming their own abusers in their respective states and cities.

On September 4, the York Daily Record published a comprehensive list naming every priest, deacon, bishop, monsignor, religious order brother, and nun that has been credibly accused of abuse in every US state and diocese in the last year.

From the York Daily Record:

Abuse survivors say every name on the list represents a cover-up that goes straight to the Vatican. Bishops say the names represent sins of the past and a church that’s moving forward in transparency.

The list is huge, and since DeadState is based in California, we’ll only post the California list. Visit the York Daily Record (linked above) to view the entire list. For a list that has been tracking abusive church members since the Boston scandal in 2002, you can visit BishopAccountability.org.
