High school principal launches into racial tirade at graduation, calls out ‘all the black people’

The principal of an Atlanta high school is under fire after unleashing racially charged comments at a graduation ceremony this Friday.

The principal of an Atlanta high school is under fire after unleashing racially charged comments at a graduation ceremony this Friday.

Nancy Gordeuk, who is also the founder of TNT Academy, took to the podium after realizing that she had accidentally cut the ceremonies short before the valedictorian could make his speech.

Gordeuk initially apologized for the confusion and asked people who were exiting the hall to return. Clearly losing patience from her inability to control the crowd, she then angrily referred to someone as a “coward” and began to berate the audience.

“You people are being so rude to not listen to this speech. It was my fault that we missed it in the program. Look who’s leaving — all the black people!” she said, prompting an angry response from the audience, even causing some on the stage to get up and leave.

TNT Academy is a “nontraditional educational center” in the predominantly African American city of Stone Mountain.

I would say she pretty much stuck her foot in her mouth and then bit it off. I hope the Board sees fit to terminate her. It’s not like she insulted Black people. In this video I saw Black and White people walking out after her offensive statement.

She ruined graduation for the young ppl and their parents. Kudos for all of their restraint; for not rushing the stage & knocking her on her fat ignorant arse. Had she been in NY she wouldn’t have made it out of there unscathed.

Look who’s pulling their kids from the school — all the non-racist people.

What do you mean it’s not like she insulted black people, Ken? She just called them out in a crowded auditorium as being the rudest people there! How can you not see that she clearly insulted the black people in that room?

Stone Mountain… That figures. I grew up there, and never regret leaving.

In case you had no idea , that is a charter school , one of those thrown together for profit schools that relies on funds that would have normally kept public schools afloat. Another thing you missed was WHY the off center ‘principal’ was fully intending to piss off every person of color there, her intention was to drive all of them away. The very concept of charter schools is a ham handed way to create segregation. She WANTS the black folks to leave , entirely.

I hope he meant that she didn’t just offend black people. That many white people were offended by her racist crap. Looked like most walked out after her last hateful comment.

I enjoyed listening to the crowds comments. I can’t help but wonder if she was drunk or just that stupid. Maybe both!

Is this person allowed to serve on a Jury? If a black person is the defendant/judge/prosecutor/defense attorney she will not be able to give a fair verdict. She should never be allowed in a jury anywhere. She should also not be in education, since she is lacking one.

I think what the person was saying is that she didn’t ONLY insult black people. You can deduce this from the next line wherein the person says that black people and white people were leaving after the comment.

I think you are saying the same thing Ken said only in a different manner…. lol… Ken is acknowledging that she was WRONG in what she done…

and if I assume correctly you are acknowledging that she was wrong… correct?

Ken probably meant (and I’m just going by the context of the whole post) “It’s not like she insulted JUST the Black people”
Could be wrong, but that’s my guess.

I can’t believe someone in charge would react that way. She ruined graduation for all the students and decided to externalize her own error. She can’t control herself and wants to control an auditorium full of people. LOL

I think Ken was being sarcastic when he said “it’s not like she insulted black ppl”. From what I saw there were white ppl leaving as well. Afterall, she did erroneously conclude the ceremony so ppl of both races were leaving. She singled out the blacks. In subsequent post with close-up pics, she looks exactly how I envisioned her, like a human pig.

It is was mostly black people who were leaving, then what she said may not be perfect or politically correct, but she was only speaking the truth. People are faaaar too sensitive these days. If she had said white people were leaving, how rude, nobody would have batted an eyelid!

I think Ken is being sarcastic. It doesn’t always translate well in print. After all, he hopes the board will terminate her. Unfortunately, it is a private school that SHE founded!! Can we see ‘enrolment will likely be reduced for the coming year’??

At the start of the video it was white ppl I saw leaving by what looked like the middle aisle. First of all, SHE’s the one who admittedly left out the valedictorian’s speech from the agenda, closed the ceremony. That, in itself is highly unprofessional, then called the man who apparently started taking photos .. “a goober”, challanging him to come up to her. After those 2 actions, I would have left as well. You are a Principal of an educational institution calling a man “goober” & issuing a provocative challenge. Name calling is childish. Forgetting about a valedictorian speech is the height of unprofessioanlism. I saw white ppl leaving .. look at the start of the video. In spite of her credentials, he social skills are lacking. She should try for another degree at say a Charm School or Etiquette Institute.

Valerie S. is not Black I am sure. I have an American Indian mom and Black dad and right now this is heavy on my heart like the recent killings, she is held to a high standard than even a teacher at that school

The family that was on camera looked to be white. However, it seems that you would find it appropriate for a founder and authority figure to have racial views and express them at the graduation. How about she, the principal do her job thoroughly.

Yes, it was a family of white people who started leaving first , but she never stated that fact , only when the black families started leaving did she get vocal on their action only. So, it came off really racist. Sad day for the human race !! And her resume is all but shot now!! Hope she learns to govern her own tongue and actions in the future.

This lady is whacko. Black people are the most respectful, self-sufficient, hard-working people on this Earth. There is NO way that there were any loudmouthed black people, making a scene that incited her anger. I mean, just look at youtube! There is NO evidence that black people are savages that are like a disgusting virus on this Earth. I think she should be fired for spouting this nonsense.
