Jiu jitsu blackbelts demonstrate how to defend against being dragged off a plane

Brazilian jiu jitsu is widely regarded as one of the most, if not the most, effective martial arts in existence. As a grappling art, jiu jitsu’s purpose is to use leverage to trap and subdue your opponent in a variety of chokeholds, leg, arm, and joint locks.

In response to the recent incident on board a United Airlines flights where a passenger was forcibly dragged off an allegedly overbooked flight, BJJ blackbelts Rener and Ryron Gracie demonstrated some techniques to counter someone who is dragging you by both arms.

The video is obviously meant to add some levity to the situation, just like a video that was posted by two other jiu jitsu blackbelts demonstrating how to defend against President Trump’s aggressively dominant handshake style.

Good techniques nonetheless.
