Josh Duggar’s sister is charged with child endangerment

According to a report from TMZ, the 31-year-old sister of Josh Duggar has been charged with endangering the welfare of a minor. The revelation comes on the heels of Duggar’s conviction on all charges related to his downloading of child pornography.

The charging of Jana Duggar was made known to TMZ via a court clerk. The charged was apparently leveled back in September, and TMZ is only learning of it now. Jana is the oldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, whose family was featured on the popular, but now canceled, reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting.

On Dec. 9, Josh Duggar was found guilty in his child pornography trial. He was charged with 2 counts of receiving and possessing child pornography, which prosecutors say included children under 12. He was convicted on both counts and the jury took around 7 hours to deliberate.

According to TMZ, Jana’s next court date will be next month. The circumstances surrounding her charge are still not known.
