According to a September FEC report shared by reporter Ben Jacobs, rapper Kanye West spent another $3 million of his own money on his presidential campaign, while raising just $2,782. In total, West has spent almost $10 million of his own funds on his bid for the presidency.
Of the money Kanye West's presidential campaign raised, $1582 came in unitemized contributions of under $200. He received two itemized contributions, one of $1000 and a second of $200.

West recently debuted his very first campaign ad. Jacobs reports that the FEC filing shows West paid a production company more than $200,000 for the ad.
The rapper-turned presidential candidate suggested that he’d run again in 2024 if unsuccessful in November.
