Kayleigh McEnany in 2016: Those who concede elections ‘do what’s best for the country’

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is a primary voice when it comes to President Trump’s ongoing to crusade to overturn the 2020 election in his favor, making multiple appearances on cable news shows to question the legitimacy of votes cast for Biden on November 3rd.

But according to a resurfaced video from 2016, McEnany’s rhetoric was the polar opposite in the wake of Donald Trump’s surge to the presidency. She slammed people “out there calling for recounts that are unsubstantiated based on no evidence” who try to “delegitimize the president-elect of the United States.”

She later commended the people who “put feelings aside” and do “what’s for the betterment of the country.”
