Kayleigh McEnany on Mike Johnson: ‘He’ll spend every morning on his knees’ asking Jesus for wisdom

Speaking Fox News about her recent interview with newly elected Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, former White House press secretary and current Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany gushed over Johnson and his Christian accolades.

“The words kind, joyful, humble, don’t often characterize politicians that I’ve encountered. They do for Mike Johnson. There’s chaos on the Hill. A lot needs to be done. But he had such calm in his demeanor. I really believe he thinks God is leading the way,” she said while referencing the bible and declaring that Johnson is here “for an Esther-like moment for such a time.”

“He took me to the ‘prayer room,’ which was made in 1954 I believe, and he said he’s going to start every morning in prayer in that room – before that picture of George Washington – on his knees and ask for wisdom and guidance.”
