Kenneth Copeland: School shootings happen because SCOTUS banned prayer in public schools

During a segment on his Flash Point show, televangelist Kenneth Copeland blamed school shootings in America on the Supreme Court’s 1963 decision to ban prayer in public schools — a decision he says was influenced by a “demon-possessed” atheist activist Madalyn Murray O’Hair.

“The Devil has assignments. If you want to know what’s happening in schools, go back to schools,” Copeland said, adding the Devil received a “geographic assignment to kill children in schools” when O’Hair came on the scene.

“The Devil used one atheist woman … who had one son — one demon-possessed woman by the name of Madalyn O’Hair, and her son, and the Supreme Court people who didn’t have what it took to stand up against her, and because of that one woman, today we don’t have bibles in schools. We can’t pray in schools anymore.”

According to Copeland, O’Hair can be directly linked to school shootings since she was used by the Devil to eradicate prayer in schools.

“The Devil used that woman to cripple our schools and open the door to the schools, and now the Devil’s going in there and killing children in schools!”
