During a recent segment on his Victory channel, televangelist Kenneth Copeland seemed to suggest that now that President Trump has recovered from COVID-19 and is presumably immune from the virus, his immunity has been passed on to Christians.
“I was noticing today President Trump, his beautiful First Lady, without masks,” Copeland said. “They are immune. … And this display of our president giving God thanks for helping him in that time, and he walked out immune.”
“Somehow — glory to God, thank you Jesus!” he continued. “Hey — we’re immune! We’re going through this thing with a Holy Spirit immunity from the works of the Devil.”
