Let’s treat young men who want to buy guns ‘like young women who want to get abortions’

There’s a new meme taking Facebook by storm.

In the wake of one high profile shooting after another these past weeks, guns are back in the center of debate – and by “debate,” we mean liberal and conservative social media warriors battling each other for the most artful metaphor.

This one is the latest winner.

The post’s text alone was copy and pasted or screengrabbed many times without credit to the original poster, but a little looking around determined it was first conceived by a fellow named Dan Favero.
