During a recent appearance on Alex Jones‘ show, Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene praised the notoriously conspiratorial broadcaster as a truth teller.
“Alex, you have been a true leader. You are an original. You’ve always been telling the truth to the American people and making sure that they’re informed on everything,” Greene told Jones during a split-screen interview.
“I really thank you and I commend you for standing in the face of unbelievable attacks against you — not only you, but your family that stands behind you and your staff that work so hard to in this important cause,” Greene said.
According to Greene, people who accused Jones of spreading disinformation were the ones who were wrong.
“You were right all along,” Greene said. “This is an information war and it’s time for our side to start fighting that war and fight it in the same way that they fight us.”
In the same segment, the two talked about the recent verdict against Donald Trump in writer E. Jean Carroll’s civil suit against him. According to Jones, Trump was ordered to pay $5 million in damages simply for saying he’s innocent. Jones also pointed out that Trump’s polls numbers still went up in the wake of the verdict and referred to Ron DeSantis as a “meatball.”
