Mike Lindell: I’ll bring ‘instant trust’ to the RNC if I become their leader

During an appearance on Charlie Kirk’s podcast, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell doubled down on his bid to lead the Republican National Committee, saying that his alleged trustworthiness makes him suitable for the job.

In an interview with Insider on Monday, Lindell said he’s “locked in” the commitments he needs to make sure Ronna McDaniel’s re-election bid to lead the RNC will fail.

“It’ll be like, what you’ve just seen happening in our Congress here, you know. There’s gonna be multiple votes, and there’s a three-way race, and we all stay in until somebody gets to 85,” Lindell told Insider, referencing the majority votes needed from 168 voting members of the RNC.

“I have plenty of states now. I believe she’s well under 85 — with my math, I’d say somewhere around 70 to 75,” Lindell said on Monday.

Speaking to Kirk, Lindell rattled off his qualifications to be RNC leader.

“The other thing I bring to the table is marketing and branding,” Lindell said. “Instant trust to the RNC. … If I have to look a donor in the eye and say, ‘Hey, put money into this,’ it’s like buying a pillow. Every product that I have, I use myself. I believe in it, or why would I dare go ask a donor for money?”
