This Wednesday, the cyber security expert MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell hired to bolster his claims of mass voter fraud in the 2020 election said that he doesn’t see any concrete evidence to back Lindell’s claims.
Speaking to the Washington Times, Josh Merritt said that his team promised to speak frankly if Lindell did not deliver the goods, and he’s now making good on that promise.
Lindell claimed that “packet captures,” which are intercepted network data obtained by other hackers, could be analyzed to reveal evidence of vote-switching by the Chinese hackers. But according to Merritt, that claim is false.
While saying that the data signaled that there may have been manipulated votes, it’s not what Lindell claims.
“We were handed a turd,” he said. “And I had to take that turd and turn it into a diamond. And that’s what I think we did.”
Lindell offered a $5 million reward to anyone who could disprove his voter fraud claims. While it seems that Merritt did just that, he told the Washington Times that Lindell’s offer is no longer on the table.
