According to a new report from In Touch Weekly, a “non-Duggar family molestation victim” is preparing to file a lawsuit against Josh Duggar.
The report, which relies on an anonymous source, is a serious development for the Duggars and means they will “have to answer every question as they will not be able to invoke their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination because the criminal statute of limitations has expired.”
From what we know so far, Josh Duggar molested 5 children in total, 4 of whom were his sisters and one who was not a family member.
From In Touch:
The family is once again under investigation [by] the Department of Human Services and the fate of their reality show 19 Kids and Counting is still undecided. The impending lawsuit sets up a nightmare scenario for TLC: if the network brings back 19 Kids and Counting, the show could be on the air while the Duggars are fighting a lawsuit that exposes all of Josh’s secrets surrounding the molestations and how the family covered it up.
The Duggars will face questions about why it took so many years to get Josh and his victims counseling and what they did to protect the minors in their home after the molestations occurred.
“All the church elders who knew about this will have to be named,” the source told In Touch.

Isn’t the statute of limitations 6 years in Arkansas? It has been 12 years since this happened.

Not a Duggar fan at all, but InTouch is nothing but a tabloid published to look like People Mag. They’ve lied a lot & I’d take anything they print with a huge grain of salt. Last year they claimed the Clooney’s were getting divorced just months after their wedding (a cover story, no less).

Still like the Duggar family. They need prayers.People sometimes has a way of blowing things up bigger than they should.Josh made some bad decisions but the family shouldn’t be shot down because of his mistakes. We are all humans and fail at times. One sin in God’s eyes is no different than any other sin.You need to pray for this family instead of trying to add fuel to the fire. The Duggar family have my prayers.
