A controversial Wisconsin priest who was removed his role as pastor of his church gave the morning prayer at the 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this weekend, declaring that the creation story of the bible is all the “science” one needs to know.
“So now and always, let us realize our health is in the name of the Lord, who actually did make heaven and earth, and that’s all the science we need to know,” Father James Altman said.
In May, Altman was asked to resign by from his role as pastor of St. James the Less in La Crosse after he shared a number of inflammatory message about about race, political affiliation, sex and gender. He also shared misinformation about COVID-19 and the vaccine.
