Police report: Track Palin punched a woman in the face and kicked her while she was down

Track Palin, Sarah Palin’s 26-year-old son, was arrested Monday night in Wasilla, Alaska after reportedly punching his girlfriend in the face and threatening suicide. Gawker has obtained the police report of the incident.

A 9-11 dispatcher received a call from a woman saying that a man with a gun had punched her in the face. Soon after, the dispatcher received a call from Track, saying that the woman was drunk and nothing was wrong.

According to the report, Track and the victim were arguing in the driveway immediately after returning home on Monday night. Both were screaming, and the victim said that she had called the police in order to keep Palin from “touching her.” Police say Track then punched the victim on “left side of her head near her eye with a closed fist,” causing her to fall to the ground in a fetal position, fearing what would happen next.

Track then kicked her in the knee and threw her phone across the driveway before going inside. The victim followed, where she found Track holding a rifle to his head.

The police report reads:

Palin was already inside and holding onto a gun, yelling “do you think I’m a pussy?” and “do you think I won’t do it?” [Redacted] stated Palin “cocked the gun” and was holding the rifle out next to him with the his right hand near the trigger and his left hand near the barrel, with the barrel just away from his face pointed to the side. [Redacted] was concerned that he would shoot himself and ran outside and around the house.

After going back inside, she went upstairs and hid under the bed. Track walked around and looked for her but soon left.

When police arrived at the house, Palin was outside talking on the phone. His breath smelled of alcohol, his eyes were red, and he was “uncooperative, belligerent and evasive.” He also had a “visible injury” near his right eye. With Palin becoming increasingly uncooperative and the victim nowhere to be found, police immediately placed Palin under arrest.

When more officers arrived and entered the house, they found the victim crying under the bed and an unloaded AR-15 on the counter.

Palin was taken to jail, but quickly posted the $1,500 bail and is expected in court February 19. Earlier today, hours after Track’s late night arrest, Sarah Palin appeared at a Donald Trump campaign rally and enthusiastically endorsed him for president.
