Rapper sees audience member hit a woman — so she jumped down into the crowd to deal with the abuser herself

During a performance at the the Riverfront Music Festival in Detroit this Saturday, R&B singer and rapper Monica noticed a man in the audience hit a woman, so she took matters into her own hands.

“No, don’t you hit her like that. Listen, listen, listen, if y’all don’t get that n***a up out of here. We [not] even supposed to play like that,” said Monica, who also goes by the nickname Goonica.

“You ain’t no n***a like that. Is you out [of] your f**king mind?” she said, staring directly at the culprit.

With security close behind her, she then jumped off the stage and walked down into the midst of the audience.

“You don’t hit no f**king lady like that,” she said while still holding the mic.
