‘Trump Criticizes Trump’ Reddit page collects over 30,000 of Trump’s most hypocritical tweets

Depending on the metaphor you want to use, Trump’s tweets either age like fine wine or like milk left out overnight during a global warming-induced heat wave. Nevertheless, the President’s Twitter history has an almost mystical way of predicting the future in an inverted kind of way.

There’s a Reddit page that’s doing an incredible job of collecting some of Trump’s most hypocritical past tweets — over 30,000 of them, and the page is getting updated with contributions daily.

Below are a few examples, with some added context.

December 15, 2011:

This is an article about a “sad sack” who has “literally lost control” of himself with his “number of tweets.”

August 1, 2014:

This one writes itself.

August 2, 2016:

“Hold my beer.”

September 11, 2013:

Now we’re a nation that’s investigating its own president for potential Russian collusion.

November 6, 2012:

No f*cking kidding.

January 26, 2014:

We’d prefer special counsel Robert Mueller take his time and get it right.

October 18, 2013:

Trump put his son-in-law in charge of negotiating peace in the Middle East and he put his wedding planner in charge of running New York’s federal housing programs.

January 29, 2017:

According to the Washington Post, dozens of Iraqi Christians were rounded up by immigration authorities in Detroit last week and are set to be sent back to Iraq. “The immigration sweep in Detroit took place after Trump’s executive order on refugees and immigration, which was signed in March.”

November 1, 2016:

Vice President Mike Pence’s home state of Indiana is shelling out $100,000 for extra lawyers to take on the task of reviewing “a large backlog” of records requests for emails he sent on his private server as governor, Newsweek reports.

November 6, 2012:

Here’s video of Trump actually bowing to the Saudis.

July 16, 2016:

Let’s talk about how “drain the swamp” turned out to be a bunch of bullsh*t.

March 21, 2014:

The latest survey from CBS News found Trump’s approval rating has hit a new low of 36 percent, while 57 percent disapproved of the job he’s doing.

November 18, 2013:

As of this writing, Trump has had 28 golf outings as president with a cost to taxpayers of over $41,000,000.

September 5, 2013:

As The Atlantic pointed out on Tuesday, an American fighter shot down a Syrian warplane on Sunday, which was “the first time the American military has downed a Syrian aircraft since the start of the civil war in 2011.” This after the U.S. bombed a Syrian government airfield in the wake of an alleged chemical attack carried out by Assad.
