Speaking on a recent episode of his TruNews program, right-wing conspiracy theorist Rick Wiles theorized that President Trump may have been intentionally infected with coronavirus as part of a leftist plan to assassinate him.
“The political left, the news media, the never-Trumpers … they’ve spent the last four years calling for Donald Trump’s death,” Wiles said in a clip flagged by Right Wing Watch.
“Why is it then not conceivable that somebody in the press corps became a kamikaze — a COVID kamikaze warrior? They think he’s Hitler!” Wiles continued. “How do we know that somebody in the political left has not decided, ‘I’m going to go down in the history books as the man who killed Hitler.'”
