Roger Stone: I’m being censored on Trump’s ‘free speech’ social media platform

Longtime Donald Trump confidant Roger Stone says he’s being censored on the former president’s social media platform Truth Social, The Daily Beast reports.

This Saturday, Stone took to the platform — which bills itself as a bastion for free speech — and wrote, “Trump also warns again a growing threat of terrorism by radical Islam mix in the predicted the 9/11 attack.” Truth Social’s algorithms flagged the post and applied a “sensitive content” warning, saying that the post “may not be suitable for all audiences.”

After the post was flagged, Stone wrote a follow-up post decrying the action.

“Why would this be censored content on TruthSocial?” Stone wrote.

As The Daily Beast points out, other Trump-supporting users say they’ve been censored on the platform.

Truth Social has seen plummeting traffic numbers since its February launch. As The Wrap reported last month, the platform has experienced a 93 percent drop in new users stumbling onto the platform. “We estimate that Truth Social has so far reached approximately 1.2 million installs since its launch,” a spokesperson told The Wrap.
