Russell Brand accused of rape by multiple women — including one who was 16-years-old at the time

Comedian and actor Russell Brand has been accused of rape and emotional abuse during a seven year period while he was a presenter for British news outlets and an actor in Hollywood, according to The Times.

In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter), Brand denied the accusations and said even though he was living a life of promiscuity at the time, all his sexual relationships were consensual and suggested the accusations are part of “another agenda at play.”

According to The New York Post, one of Brand’s accusers was 16-years-old at the time of an alleged incident.

The findings are the result of a “joint investigation” by The Sunday Times, The Times and Channel 4 Dispatches.

“One woman alleges that Brand raped her against a wall in his Los Angeles home. She was treated at a rape crisis centre on the same day,” The Times’ stated.
