Sarah Palin: I’ll get back into politics to help Christians ‘take over’ if ‘God wants me to’

Former Alaska Governor and failed vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is mulling over a possible return to politics, that is, of course, if Jesus approves.

Appearing at a leadership conference alongside New Apostolic Reformation leader Ché Ahn, Palin declared that America was dedicated to God,” and that “our charters of liberty are written about and to God,” Right Wing Watch reports. According to Palin, a “rapid shift to the left” is currently taking place in the U.S. and the destruction of the country is imminent unless Christians take action.

“How dare we strip from our Creator what our founders had dedicated to him?” Palin said. “How dare you try to take that back and change if for mankind, for some kind of secular use, secular enjoyment?

When Ahn asked Palin if she’d consider running for U.S. Senate from Alaska, she responded that she’d have to pray about it.

“If God wants me to do it, I will,” she said, adding that she’d have to see better support from Christians than they gave her during her run for vice president.

“We’ve got to get out there,” she said. “[Christians] have to be the ones shaking it up. And essentially, yeah, taking over. Otherwise, what was given to God will be taken away from God.”
