‘Sound of Freedom’ actor declares that ‘Donald Trump is the new Moses’

During an appearance on Fox & Friends, actor Jim Caviezel praised former President Donald Trump and compared him to the biblical figure Moses while was promoting his new movie, Sound of Freedom.

In the movie, Caviezel plays the part of Tim Ballard, an anti-human trafficking activist and the founder and former CEO of Operation Underground Railroad. Critics have slammed the movie, saying it’s marketed towards right-wingers who subscribe to the QAnon conspiracy theory, primarily due to the fact that Caviezel has repeatedly regurgitated QAnon rhetoric while promoting the movie.

During the segment, Fox News host Brian Kilmeade asked Caviezel what more could be done to battle child sex trafficking.

“Oh, yeah. We have to do a lot more. And we got to start with Donald Trump,” he replied. “Well, he’s got to be in there because he’s going to go after the traffickers.”

When asked if he think Trump “understands that,” Caviezel replied: “This is the new Moses. I mean, I’m still Jesus [Caviezel played Jesus in the movie Passion of the Christ], but he’s the new Moses. Pharaoh, let my children go free.”
